This program offers comprehensive, individualized treatment plans tailored to help patients recover quickly from concussions and return to work, school, daily activities, or caregiving roles.
Our interdisciplinary provider team consists of occupational therapists, physical therapists, and kinesiologists, all of whom meet high standard qualification requirements. This includes a minimum of 12 months of experience directly related to assessing and treating concussions and vestibular disorders within the last 3 years, as well as attending concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation courses.

The ICBC Early Access Concussion Recovery (EACR) Pilot Program is an initiative designed to provide comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for individuals recovering from concussions. Our program, offered at Prime Health and Performance in Vancouver, BC, utilizes the latest evidence-based therapies to address the physical, cognitive, psychological, and functional impacts of concussions. Our goal is to help patients achieve a full recovery and return to their daily activities as quickly as possible.
Prime Health and Performance prioritize seamless coordination between our provider team and the patient’s other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated treatment plan. Our goal is to streamline the recovery process and provide a positive experience every step of the way. We maintain clear communication and collaboration among our interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and kinesiologists, to guide patients on their path to regaining total health and abilities after a concussion.
Invoices for the EACR Pilot Program should include the following information: vendor/clinic name and vendor number, customer name, claim number, identification as an Early Access Concussion Recovery Pilot Program invoice, an itemized list of each service provided, the date and duration of each service, the provider’s name and practitioner type, and the cost of each service. The invoice must be specific to one customer only and should detail services by treatment block.
If a treatment plan is terminated due to customer non-compliance, ICBC retains the right to discontinue funding at any point. Approved Clinics will receive prior notification before the termination of previously approved treatment plans. ICBC will only be responsible for payment up to the date when the Approved Clinic receives the termination notification. Payment for the treatment block will be prorated based on the termination notification date, and compensation for any reports completed up to that point will also be provided. Additionally, ICBC will request a final discharge report from the provider team, for which compensation will be issued.
